I feel like I’m finally crawling out of my hole! Got back to a little more vigorous exercise this morning and I could tell the neuropathy wasn’t as bad this time. I still have some tingly sensations on top of my left foot and up my shin a bit, and the tips of a couple fingers are sensitive, but I’m honestly more bothered by the paper cut on my left index finger! The L-glutamine and Super B Complex appear to be working, but I also found out that I can be taking 6x the amount of L-glutamine which I might have to do because the B vitamins are giving me terrible heartburn. I was reading reviews on Amazon for B vitamins and many of them say they had increased energy from taking them, which I’ve also experienced so I honestly hope I can find a different brand or something that will settle better.

In fact, I had plenty of energy to make the soap in the photo today! It’s a custom batch for a friend, and I thought I’d try out the technique we are doing for the March soap challenge. My friend Teri is guest teaching, and this was the first time I actually got to see how it works! Conclusion: It’s really fun, and I think I might need to make another one…

Honestly, the neuropathy has been a little difficult for me emotionally, so I’m really glad to see the improvement. I’ve heard different stories (again, everyone seems to react differently!) and some say their symptoms went away after treatment, and some say they still suffer. Once again, I’ve had to give up control – that’s really what this is about anyway – and trust that God knows what He’s doing and He’s taking care of me!
