I had asked my friend Rebble to join me for treatment #4, and she really wanted to but she had just gotten over the flu, so we decided it would be better to wait for the next round. Here we are for #5 and now it’s more important than ever for visitors to be healthy!! They were taking everyone’s temperature as they came through the Cancer Center today, and working to limit visitors to just one. Well, I had Kent, then Rebble was going to pick up a shift, and then the girls were planning to pick up lunch and join us! They almost didn’t let Rebble in since Kent was already with me, but Kent told them she was his replacement, so they allowed it. We thought they wouldn’t let the girls come back, but they did! Just to drop off our food, and then they headed back out.

Rebble also accidentally took this gem:

We had such a great talk while we worked on our coloring pages. I love how real and honest she is with me, and that she trusts me with the important stuff. I just love HER.

The appointment with my oncologist Dr. Corum went well. My white blood count was back up to normal again like it has been every cycle – yay!! My hemoglobin continues to slowly go down each time and there’s just nothing to be done about it, so I’ll have to continue to listen to my body and make sure I keep pushing fluids. Working on scheduling an echocardiogram at the end of March to make sure my heart is still working properly, then my last chemo treatment will be April 6! A few weeks after that they will do an ultrasound to see how much the tumor has shrunk, and then I can talk to the surgeon again about what my options are for surgery.

I watched a movie on Disney Plus with the girls when I got home. Ate leftovers for dinner with gluten free oreos for dessert!

Tonight I’m just feeling worn out. Surprisingly I was able to get about four hours of sleep last night – about double what I usually get the night before treatment due to the steroids keeping me up! Hoping I can sleep well tonight, and not have to worry about reflux. Thanks so much for your continued prayers!! I got a sweet card in the mail from my cousin in Colorado today reminding me that she’s still praying too.
