Hi. I'm writing you from Barbados. 10 years ago on Christmas Day, my big sister came to tell me she had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. It was a long fight and her treatments lasted into 2012, with chemo, surgery and radiation treatment. She still has some effects from the chemo, but is doing well. I wish you all the best for a happy life with your beautiful family. I am happy you have something like your wonderful soaping journey to add even more richness to your life. I will continue to follow your progress and pray for you and your family.
Dear Amy,
Not much to say, other than, you are a wonderful example of how to "Be still/Let go" and let God handle what we can't. No matter what, our future is brighter ahead with Him. God bless you and your family.
I am wishing you all the luck on July 14th. Praying for you to have many good days ahead.
Recovery is ahead. My best wishes & thoughts are with you. š¤š
Iām so happy to see you are out of surgery and the pain is a wee bit better. I sure hope you are able to head home soon. Iām continuing to keep you in my prayers Amy. šøšš¼
Sending many hugs and prayers to you, Amy! Your bravery is an inspiration! From a 27 yr survivor ā¤
Amy, I just wanted to leave a little note to tell you that you're in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless the upcoming surgery and lead you through this as a survivor! Hoping that the rules about visitors also change before then so that you can have your loved ones by your side. Thank you for everything that you do, for being a light and joy to all those that have a chance to get to know you, even a little!
Dear Amy,
You are so strong and courageous as you battle! Your positive attitude and humor and faith shines through. Iām so grateful to have (virtually) met you. Thinking and praying extra hard for you and your beautiful family on May 12. Love, Tania
Amy,
Hope you are doing well. I missed our gathering on Sunday and do appreciate the warm hospitality you and Kent have exhibited from the beginning. Prayers continue for healing and precious moments with both your girls. Denise
Dear Amy,
My thoughts and prayers have been with you ever since you gave the notice you had cancer. We had just finished a brutal chemo routine with our 22 year old daughter who had been diagnosed with Burkitts lymphoma. I know the journey you must travel but with your faith, God will keep you and give you what you need. You are such a wonderful person and I have enjoyed our snippets of conversations over questions about soap. Please know you will be held in prayer. You and your family will ever be changed with this journey, but know it will come in handy for others when the time comes.. Sending much love,
Linda Giffoni
Amy,
Words fail me so often. What I want to say never seems to be enough to explain what I am feeling. I will try anyway. You are loved in so many ways. Thank you for being you. Thank you for allowing us to do this journey with you. Thank you for letting us be strong alongside you.
Tina
I know this is a hard journey, but know God is able. I will be praying for you and your family. And when you beat this trust me your soaping friends will rejoice with you. God Bless!!!
I've been praying for you. You are such an inspiration in so many ways. Thank you for touching my life by challenging me as a new soaper. You've created an environment where we can come together and support each other, and I get chills thinking about the goodness that comes from it all. You have truly done amazing things for this world...at least mine anyway. Thank you.
Amy was heartbroken to hear of the death in your family sending prayers for endurance for your family I am so glad to hear you are doing better than hoped for during these treatments. Also praying for the Lord to instruct you regarding the results on your other side. Since you have the Word in your heart He will guide you. I appreciate you keeping us posted on how you are doing and what you need prayer for. May you continue to rest in the Lord durning your treatments.
Love you and am praying for you, Amy! Your joy and optimism through this is such a demonstration of the Spirit in you! I love that you are using this as James tells us, and 2 Corinthians 10! He is strong when we are weak, we can boast in our weaknesses even, because He gets all the glory in the end! Wow! Praise Him! I will boast about you, my sister, who joyfully gives thanks in ALL circumstances! Thanks for being such a blessing and treasure to the Kingdom before we even get there! Excited to worship along with you in eternity!
Dear Amy, you are simply beautiful and so are your writings! I am thinking and praying for you lots! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You are very loved and very prayed for! šš
