Hi. I'm writing you from Barbados. 10 years ago on Christmas Day, my big sister came to tell me she had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. It was a long fight and her treatments lasted into 2012, with chemo, surgery and radiation treatment. She still has some effects from the chemo, but is doing well. I wish you all the best for a happy life with your beautiful family. I am happy you have something like your wonderful soaping journey to add even more richness to your life. I will continue to follow your progress and pray for you and your family.

I'm so happy that your sister is still doing well! Chemo is no joke! I think my brain is probably permanently affected as well - I feel like I am slower to come up with my words. Thankfully, it is not too terribly life altering. Just slows me down! šŸ™‚ Thank you for your prayers, Debra!!

Dear Amy, Not much to say, other than, you are a wonderful example of how to "Be still/Let go" and let God handle what we can't. No matter what, our future is brighter ahead with Him. God bless you and your family.

Hoping that the rules about visitors also change before then so that you can have your loved ones by your side. Thank you for everything that you do, for being a light and joy to all those that have a chance to get to know you, even a little!

Dear Amy, My thoughts and prayers have been with you ever since you gave the notice you had cancer. We had just finished a brutal chemo routine with our 22 year old daughter who had been diagnosed with Burkitts lymphoma. I know the journey you must travel but with your faith, God will keep you and give you what you need. You are such a wonderful person and I have enjoyed our snippets of conversations over questions about soap. Please know you will be held in prayer. You and your family will ever be changed with this journey, but know it will come in handy for others when the time comes.. Sending much love, Linda Giffoni

I've been praying for you. You are such an inspiration in so many ways. Thank you for touching my life by challenging me as a new soaper. You've created an environment where we can come together and support each other, and I get chills thinking about the goodness that comes from it all. You have truly done amazing things for this world...at least mine anyway. Thank you.

Love you and am praying for you, Amy! Your joy and optimism through this is such a demonstration of the Spirit in you! I love that you are using this as James tells us, and 2 Corinthians 10! He is strong when we are weak, we can boast in our weaknesses even, because He gets all the glory in the end! Wow! Praise Him! I will boast about you, my sister, who joyfully gives thanks in ALL circumstances! Thanks for being such a blessing and treasure to the Kingdom before we even get there! Excited to worship along with you in eternity!
