I’m sure all our bedroom renovation projects over the weekend didn’t set me up to be very well rested before this latest infusion. Add to that a few weird side effects, and I haven’t been sleeping so well. I hadn’t felt any side effects from the Prolia injection all day yesterday until I went to bed. Then I had random bone pain in my right hip, so I shifted to my left side and it went away. Then it was in my left shin, then my left hip, my legs were restless because I didn’t get up in time to exercise, and my brain wouldn’t shut down. It was after midnight when I finally gave up and went downstairs to take some ibuprofen for the hip pain and eventually fell asleep.

Yesterday I had my last appointment with the lymphedema specialist. She said she wants me to wear my compression sleeve for a couple hours on my right arm just to make sure it fits properly before she officially discharges me. But, she said I’m doing great!! She took measurements on my right arm and I stood on the machine that measures the fluids in my body, and all of that showed an overall decrease in my fluid retention outside the cells, and good hydration inside them.

Today I had a follow-up appointment with the plastic surgeon. He was very pleased with how the scars are healing and the symmetry between both breasts. My next appointment with him will be in three more months.

Fortunately, I haven’t had any bone pain during the day today, but I think I will take some ibuprofen before I go to bed tonight just to make sure. I need a good night’s sleep so I don’t fall asleep during date night tomorrow night!
